These sheets are softer than any 100% cotton sheets out there. Even without pre-washing they have a smooth silky cool touch. All of the high quality Egyptain cotton sets I tried made me itchy in bed and I did not have the patience to wait until the 5th or 6th washing. They are not as heavy(thick) as I expected from a 1500 thread count, however, that could be a good thing as they will not take up as much space in the washing machine. I also really love the "cool to to the touch" feel that you get from bamboo. Cust service was extremely helpful and cooperative. Buy with confidence!
